The Full Story
We started our business because there was not enough resources in the San Luis valley and we wanted to help expand the resources for the homes of the SLV. We Started out by making the website then talking to the right people to help get the word out. Then we started putting together our sponsorship letters as well as applying for grants. After getting the money together we started working on where we where going to place the business. Our Founders Grandmother helped us out by renting us a little structure that needed to be remodeled to start out the business. Finally, after remodeling the structure, creating the web site, and advertising, we started helping people. We also started letting people know IRL that there is a Community Resource Center. Now we are expanding our knowledge and management skills to all of Colorado.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help families connect to the right resources by providing accessible Information, resource navigation, community support, and opportunities to connect with organizations and services that can improve their lives. We work to strengthen out community by making resources easier to find, understand, and access while building partnerships and empowering people to help one another.
